Founded in 2012, Legacy Landscaping began with a simple mission: to create outdoor spaces that complement Portland's natural beauty while standing up to its challenging weather. What started as a two-person operation serving the Alberta Arts district has grown into a team of 20+ serving the entire metro area.
We approach every project with an understanding of local soil conditions, native plants, and the specific needs of Portland's architectural styles. Our designs balance aesthetics with practical solutions for moss control, drainage, and earthquake-resistant hardscaping.
As active members of the Portland Urban Forestry Commission, we're committed to sustainable practices that protect our urban canopy. A portion of every project goes toward planting street trees in underserved neighborhoods.
